"Religion and Spirituality are often part of the client's problem, but it can also be part of the client's solution," (Corey, 2018) stated in an article published by the American Counseling Association. We should not avoid the topics of religion and spirituality role in the field of counseling, but rather embrace them because they play a major part in our life. In my opinion, the need to include religion and spirituality in both assessment and treatment of the client is essential for a full recovery. (Corey, 2018)
